The Real Estate Angel

Are there angels that work with us in pursuing our business goals?  I have an interesting story to tell about that very topic and will let you decide for yourself!

About September last year, I partnered with two business guys in the purchase of a home that we remodeled and put back on the market for resale.  I felt it was quite a God thing as the house was the corner home across the street and next to my corner home and in dire need of repair.

I knew the neighbors that lived there, but not well enough to really know what was going on in their lives.  They were the kind of neighbors, you know, that you smile and wave at from across the street.  They keep their yard mowed, well for the most part, and although the home was not looking good, you knew that times can be hard and you wish them the best of luck.  I ended up not seeing them for quite some time and heard through the grape vine that the husband and wife and gotten divorced.  I kept an eye on the house to make sure it stayed safe and sound.

I got the idea one day to just give them a call and see how they were doing.  My wife was friends with their daughter on facebook so she got me the father's number.  After talking to him I found out that they had in fact divorced and that the wife had received the home in the divorce, but she had moved away.  He gave me her number and said I was welcomed to call her.  Although they were divorced he definitely cared about her and wanted the best for her.  He mentioned that he thought she was going to be foreclosed on soon if nothing different happened.

After calling, talking to the wife and asking her how she was doing, she basically just blurted out that anything I could do to help her get out from under the house would be greatly appreciated as it was going to be foreclosed on in the very next month or so.  Long story short, I bought the house and partnered with one guy that I was really wanting to do business with and another guy who had over a decade experience doing what we were about to be doing for the very first time.

Again, long story short, things ended up costing more than expected, the market for real estate was officially announced as worse than that of the Great Depression and the house was not selling.  After personally starting a new Real Estate company in this time period and not having more than one sale in 7 months, I officially came to the end of my finances.  Through this process my partners and I had ample opportunity to get frustrated with the process, with each other and with God, but thankfully, I felt we actually persevered and honored each other above ourselves!

Yet, the house had not sold and something needed to happen.  It was a July 16th, 2011 and a Saturday afternoon and I was in my front yard, looking across the street at the house and at the For Sale sign sitting in the front and something just came over me.  I began to yell out loud and said, "God, release an angel, whose only job is to get that house sold, NOW!"  I walked inside not feeling any better about the whole situation and 10 minutes later walked back out with my wife and kids as they were leaving to go swimming at the Y.  I glanced over again at the house and lo and behold, there was a white SUV sitting out on the side in the road!  I went back into my house and kept looking out the windows trying to figure out who the SUV belonged to. 

After about 20-30 minutes I saw a young blond haired girl that looked like a real estate agent and a man come out of the house looking all around.  They looked all over the yard, went into the garage, then they went back into the house.  All in all it appeared that they were there for about an hour.  Good sign!  Two days later I heard from one of my partners that the agent that had been at the house contacted our agent and made an almost full asking price offer! 

As of now, the property is officially under contract and due to close in a few week. Thank you Jesus!  It would seem that Angels don't play around when they get released to accomplish a purpose!  Are angels real and do they do Real Estate?  Again, I'll let you decide for yourself, but you can be sure that I certainly know my answer.

Joseph Business: Uniquely Meeting Needs

Recently read a great book that was given to me by a dear prophetic friend.  The book is called, "The Seven Mountain Mantle" and is written by a man named Johnny Enlow.  This book is the sequel to his recent book called, "The Seven Mountain Prophecy."

I must say that for those who are in business and spiritually minded, the Seven Mountain Prophecy will completely change the way you see the world around you; particularly in regards to business and finance.  It is written by a very prophetic individual who sees most issues of this world as being able to be classified within the context of seven mountains: Media, Entertainment, Family, Government, Religion, Economy and Education.  The premise of this book is that there are principalities and demonic structures that govern the tops of the mountains and through doing so hold sway over the rest of the mountain as well as the world.  We as Christians are called to invade and take back these mountains from the enemy by walking in the areas of gifting and influence that God has given us.

The Seven Mountain Mantle continues the same vein of thought by giving a spiritual and prophetic analysis of those that have the "Joseph Mantle" to lead the way in taking back these mountains of influence.  As this blog is written and geared for those that are called to the mountain of Economy, I wanted to share some particular aspects of this mantle that would help us as we pursue God's best for our businesses.  The following is a significant quote from the book...

"The first mark of a Joseph business is that it is uniquely meeting a need.  The second mark is that wealth is the byproduct, not the goal.  These will be your important diagnostic tests for the future if you are looking to have a business that God will put His mantle of favor on.  The coming Josephs will be about uniquely meeting needs.  God's dreams will come to you as you posture yourself before Him for this purpose."


As you can see, those who are called to flourish in the mountain of business are called to bring forth solutions that uniquely meet needs.  It is out of meeting needs that the release of finances will come, which will then position us to continue meeting more needs.  It's a Kingdom paradigm and positions us to rule and reign on this mountain as servant kings.  Jesus said, "The greatest among you, will be the servant of all."  This is our destiny and call, to be the greatest servants of people, by providing systems, products, resources and services that improve the lives of those around us.  It is out of being faithful in these small things that we in turn are made rulers of much and are then able to continue to grow, flourish and take back this mountain of economy.

Right now the mountain of economy is ruled by the Mammon spirit that promotes selfishness and greed.  Our business ideas and ventures that are based on Kingdom values of serving and meeting needs are going to explode like wildfire and advance the Kingdom on this mountain.  The higher we go up this mountain, the more people in the world are going to see the majesty, the goodness and the power of our God.

Take some time this week to reevaluate your business and your business desires.  If your primary motivator is finances, you will realize that a Mammon spirit has been ruling in your sphere.  If your primary motivator is uniquely serving and meeting a need, then over time you will find that finances is simply the product of loving and serving others well.  They who are faithful in little, are being made rulers over much.

Declarations that are not for the faint of heart: Part 2

The following is another declaration that I have done for some time and am now doing over each of us daily.  As Job was one of the most blessed, most successful men in history, so much so that the devil had to approach God and ask for permission to try to take him down, there are therefore certainly lessons we can learn from the way that he approached life.

Job chapter 29 is a perfect example of Job's approach to life before the great affliction that opened the door to greater blessing.  In this passage, Job was in tremendous suffering and reflecting on the days of his life past and all that they encompassed.  I have taken this reflection as it declares his previous state and have adjusted Job 29 from a past tense to a present tense as it is the state that we should expect of ourselves.

However I must warn that the following declarations are not for the faint of heart.  Any trace of a religious spirit is quick to rise up and declare that the expectation to walk in the same things is presumption, arrogance or even just plain sin in the form of pride.  The religious spirit denies the power and the goodness of God.  The spirit of religion has the right words, right act, but at the end of the day can't display the goods.  Instead it criticizes and becomes offended at the fact that another could believe and walk out in the fullness and the goodness of God for their lives.

The spirit of religion says you can't handle the fullness of the goodness of God because if you did experience it, you couldn't handle it or you would grow prideful and God would have to resist you.  Let me tell you the devil is a liar, a cheat and a thief and we are not going to listen to him any more.  God is good and he does good, everyday.

Job however, was a man just like us and the Lord says, "do not give up your confidence, for it shall be richly rewarded" and "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he."

If you will take these declarations and make them a consistent part of your life, over time you will find that you will think different, act different, people will treat you different, more than you could ever imagine and that difference, is going to be Christ in you, manifesting himself through you.

Job 29 Present Tense

How I thank you for these days, because God is watching over me.  Your lamp is shining upon my head and by your light I walk through darkness.  


Thank you for these days, because I am in my prime and God's intimate friendship is blessing my house.  The Almighty is with me and my children are around me.


My path is drenched with cream and the rock pours out for me streams of olive oil.  When I go to the gates of the city and take my seat in the public square, young men see me and step aside, old men rise to their feet, chief men refrain from speaking and cover their mouths with their hands.  The voices of nobles are hushed and their tongues stick to the roof of their mouths.


Whoever hears me, speaks well of me and those who see me commend me, because I rescue the poor who cry for help and the fatherless who have none to assist them.  The man who is dying blesses me; I make the widows heart to sing.


I put on righteousness as my clothing, justice is my robe and my turban.  I am eyes to the blind and feet to the lame.  I am a father to the needy, I take up the case of the stranger.  I break the fangs of the wicked and snatch victims from their teeth.


I will die in my own house, my days as numerous as the grains of sand.  My roots reach to the water and the dew lies all night on my branches.  My glory remains fresh in me, the bow ever new in my hand.


Men listen to me expectantly, they wait in silence for my counsel.  After I speak, they speak no more and my words fall gently on their ears.  They wait for me as for showers and drink in my words as the spring rain.


When I smile at them, they can scarcely believe it, the light of my face is precious to them.  I choose the way for them and sit as their chief, I sit as a king among his troops.  I am like one who comforts mourners.


Go and be blessed.  Let God's word be held true and every man and every devil a liar.

Declarations for Great Wisdom, Great Favor, Great Life and Great Wealth: Part 1

Daily Prayer Directives

Pray and decree for five minutes a day into each directive, for a total of 30 minutes:

1. Ask for an increase of great wisdom to fill your life, family, ministry and business according to Proverbs 4:7; James 3:17-18; James 1:5.

Decree: In Jesus' name, I decree that Jesus Christ has been made Wisdom unto me. Because I invited the Spirit of Christ's wisdom to fill me to overflowing, I am enriched in all things. The Spirit of Wisdom fills my mind, heart, soul and body. The Spirit of Wisdom empowers me and gives me understanding each and every day. The increase of wisdom is great in my life. I am blessed with wisdom and understanding.

Wisdom guards my thoughts, my words and my ways. I listen for Wisdom to speak to me each day. My ear is attentive to Wisdom and I am obedient to Wisdom's instruction. Wisdom gives me discretion and discernment in all my life's choices. Wisdom inspires me and rules over my decisions in life. I love and cherish Wisdom. I eat and drink at Wisdom's banqueting table. The Wisdom I walk in and exercise is heavenly wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering and without hypocrisy. The Wisdom that fills me daily produces the fruit of righteousness, peace and joy.

2. Ask for Wisdom to fill your mouth with creative and righteous words, according to Proverbs 8:6-9, James 3.

Decree: In the name of Jesus Christ, I decree that the fruit of my mouth is righteous and blessed. Wisdom watches over and guards the words that I speak. Wisdom produces creative words within me that bring forth truth, life, and edification. Through Wisdom, I call forth those things that are not as though they are. With the power of Christ's wisdom I command mountains to be removed. Like my Heavenly Father, I create with my words. Like Him, I say, "Let there be light," and light and life and blessing are made manifest.

Through words of wisdom and faith I call forth blessing to come upon me and overtake me. Through words of wisdom and faith I create an awesome course of fruitfulness to walk in. I watch over my heart and mouth with all diligence, for with my heart I believe and with the words of my confession, it is sealed. Through the Blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony I overcome. The opening of my mouth produces right things, and the words of my mouth are seasoned with grace, love and truth. I speak noble things that bring honor and glory to my King. My heart and my mouth are filled with wisdom and therefore I am blessed.

3. Ask for the fear of the Lord (reverence, awe and attention to God) to fill you, for it is the beginning of wisdom. Psalms 19:9, 25:14, 33:18, 34:7, 103:17, 111:10; Proverbs 9:10, 14:26-27.

Decree: I fear (reverence, honor and give primary attention to) God with all my heart, mind, and strength because of Wisdom's instruction. I grow in the fear of the Lord and therefore receive insights into His secrets and mysteries. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever, therefore I am filled with His purity. The angel of the Lord encamps around me because I fear the Lord. Angelic protection is fortified and increased in my life.

Because I love wisdom and the fear of God, the eye of the Lord is upon me to watch over me in all my ways. In the fear of the Lord I have strong confidence and my children have refuge. His fear is a fountain of life to me. I choose the fear of the Lord in all my ways because it is the beginning of wisdom. I am filled with the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord and therefore I grow in great wisdom, insight and understanding.

4. Ask for increased favor with God and with man. Psalms 5:12, 45:12; Proverbs 3:4, 8:35, 11:27, 14:15.

Decree: I decree in Jesus' name that I am blessed with the favor of the Lord. His favor is a shield and protection around me. I grow in favor every day with God and man. I am favored in everything I put my hands to and everywhere I go. The blessing of the Lord's favor opens doors for me that no one can shut. I am blessed beyond measure because of the undeserved, unmerited favor of the Lord.

I am constantly filled with goodness, because the favor of the Lord blesses me. I have favor everywhere I go because I seek good and because I love wisdom. I am favored at home, in my church, in the work place, marketplace and everywhere I connect with people. The rich among the people entreat my favor. Those in authority favor me. I am favored in all my dealings because of the blessing of Christ over my life.

5. Ask for the blessing of the abundant life. John 10:10; Ephesians 1:3; 2 Peter 1:2-4; Proverbs 3:16.

Decree: Jesus came that I would have life and have it abundantly. I have a full and abundant life in Him. The Father has chosen gladly to give me His Kingdom, and all the blessings and promises in the Kingdom are mine in Christ Jesus. Every spiritual blessing in the Heavenly places is mine. My life is great in Christ, for He has given me everything that pertains to life and to godliness. He has given to me His great, precious and magnificent promises so that by them I can partake of the Divine nature.

I enjoy a long, full life that is filled with every good thing. As my days are, so shall my strength be. Everything I put my hands to is filled with life. The words I speak are filled with life. Everything around me lives and prospers. Because I love Wisdom, I have the long, full life that is in her right hand.

6. Ask for wealth. Proverbs 3:16, 8:18; Psalm 23:6; Genesis 1:28; Deuteronomy 8:18; Philippians 4:19.

Decree: I love Wisdom and therefore I am granted the wealth that is in her left hand. My God has given me the power to make wealth in order to establish His covenant. The blessing of wealth comes upon me and overtakes me. I am blessed with prosperity in all that I put my hands to. I am fruitful and I multiply. Goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I sow into good ground and reap 30 – 60 – 100 fold return, and am increased 1,000 fold more than I am now.

The same measures of wisdom and wealth that were granted Solomon are available to me in Christ, and even beyond what Solomon received, because Jesus has gone to the Father. With the blessing of wealth I care for the poor, the widows, the orphans and the destitute. I receive the transference of wealth and decree that the wealth of the wicked is stored up for me. The windows of Heaven are open over my life and the rain of God's provision drenches me continuously. All my needs are met according to God's riches in glory through Christ. I am blessed with great, ever-increasing wealth through the goodness and promises of God.

Declarations: An important Key to releasing the promises.

In my experience, the goodness and promises of God are not one time events that happen in response to a single prayer or declaration, though God does honor prayer and can release a particular breakthrough.  However I find that the goodness and promises of God are to be a lifestyle that we walk in daily and should be growing throughout the days of our lives.

There are certainly times of pruning or dry seasons, but the purpose of these times is that of preparation, that we would bear more fruit and that our roots would grow stronger and deeper in the true source of life, Jesus.  With this vision in mind, the question therefore becomes how do we participate with God in seeing this fruitfulness come forth in our lives? 

While there are many aspects of walking in fullness, a very significant aspect is that of declaration.  As it turns out, scriptural declaration has the force of law in the spirit realm and as the spirit realm is more real, more tangible, more impactful than anything in the physical realm, we must as spiritual beings made in the image and likeness of God take up our divine weapons that are supernaturally powerful for the destruction of strongholds.  The following is basis for this belief…

            Isaiah 55:11 …so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

            Isaiah 44:26 …who carries out the words of his servants and fulfills the predictions of his messengers…

            Psalm 103:20  Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. (Speaking the word releases angelic hosts on our behalf, this is HUGE)

            Isaiah 45:23  By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked…

            Job 22: 28  "You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways. NAS

            Genesis 1:3  And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Let us therefore lay hold of the promises of God and through scriptural declaration, decree that which God declares over us for the promises in his word are so much better than anything we can come up with on our own. 

What then shall we declare???

Declare a shield of victory and shield of favor being around you at all times.  Declare that you are blessed when you go out and when you come in.  Declare that God is working on your behalf beyond all that you can ask, think, hope or want.  Declare that you reap 100 fold for the work of your hands and that God is increasing you 1000 times greater than you are right now.  Declare…

First Post of the Mighty Men: 100 Fold Returns This year

I must say that I am tremendously excited to see what God is about to do in each of our lives, particularly in the realm of finances.

Last night I was up to 3 in the morning, praying and felt like the Lord gave me the following scripture and thoughts…

Genesis 26:12-14  Isaac planted a crop in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord had blessed him.  The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.  He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him.

This scripture is exciting in itself, that God would bless one in such a way that he would reap 100 fold the first year he was in business.  What is more exciting is the backdrop to the whole passage which is given in the first eight words of chapter 26, “Now there was a famine in the land...”

In this passage there is a worldwide famine going on in the land, but God told Isaac to not go to Egypt, the place everyone else went during a famine, because God knew that the Egyptian system, was one that ultimately led to slavery; so God had Isaac stay in Gerar.

Because of Isaac’s obediance, God blessed him 100 fold on his first years crops.  And the blessing did not stop there, but continued on until Isaac and his entire family became very wealthy.  So much so that the king of the Philistines asked him to move away because he was becoming more powerful than the Philistine nation.

This is my prayer for us this week, that we would bring forth 100 fold, even in the midst of the famine in the land.  He who is faithful is faithful and just to perform his word and he will complete it.

On a prophetic note, I came to my computer this morning and picked up a new debit card that came in the mail yesterday and put it into my wallet.  Then I checked the Elijah list and this is part of an article from Doug Addison that I saw, which I think is for all three of us…

ATM Cards from Heaven

I saw "spiritual ATM cards" being issued to people for "Angelic Teller Machines". God is assigning angels that will make finances and favor available from June 8 through September 30 (Pentecost – Rosh Hashanah). This is a specific time that people are going to reap what they have previously sown. In other words, we are in a time right now that we are receiving from God because of things that we have done and given to over the past nine years (2001-2011).

The amount of grace and blessing being received right now will not seem to make sense to some because it is coming as back-payment for previous losses.

Plan Now for the Future Assignments

Don't assume the amount of blessing you are receiving from June to September will continue at the same high velocity. So don't just think you can camp in the flow of blessing, you will still need to be wise and position yourself to get the new promotions coming after September. Begin planning now by watching for new opportunities.
